his words and voice make me melt, the melodies and music are awe-inspiring, and his dedication to making an entire album (well, two entire albums) about a state (well, two different states) is something that which all musicians should hope to someday accomplish.

sufjan is love. "illinois" is probably one of the best albums ever released and if you're from illinois, you should consider getting yourself a copy, or ripping it from someone else.

they're good. indie music is at the heart of what i listen to.

"appeals for insertion" is my favourite track available there. the lyrics are fantastic.
